I had a winning session today! I picked up 4 buyins in about 2.5hrs or so! Quite impressive since I have not had the feeling of victory in weeks!!
Then my back started to hurt because my current set up sucks (I'm in Toronto right now for a few more days).

I definatly hope my downswing is over (at least I think it is) and it definately feels good to be on the winning side of a set vs set w00t! Hopefully I can turn this ship around!!

On a totaly different note... I totally pimped out my FTP. I customized the table to show the stats corresponding to my PAHUD stats (u cant see this because I actually use the Racetrack table view) and changed my avatar to Phil Ivey. I'm Phil Ivey beeeyotches!!



Obviously anyone that sees me playing won't see me as phil ivey avatar, so only I can see myself as phil ivey and everyone sees me as the chinese person avatar (which is really ugly , and thats why i chose to replace it b/c no one ever uses that one)

I don't even know where to begin other then... wow...

In the last week I just hit one of the worst downswings ever. Wow. So far I've dropped about 10-12 buyins. Its gotten to a point where when i flop trips i am actually scared of being beat. Its just so disgusting. It's definatly time to take a break, which really sucks because I really want to play but I cant keep playin getting raped left and right like no tommororw.

Anyway, after watching some card runners demo vids... Man some of those guys are ridiculously good heads up. I'm going to sign up for CR now and hopefully watching those vids can help me improve my winrate. I really want to get better at 6max and HU and I really want to play more HU after watching those videos.

Your biggest leak is the fishes are luckier then you

So today was a pretty interesting day. With school being officially over for me became a degen gambler and played a lot. In fact my back actually hurts from sitting in my chair all day lol. Unfortunately despite playing pretty well and making a few mistakes which I've come to accept, I still had the biggest losing session i've ever had. It was one of those days where nothing would go right (kings run into aces AIPF, ppl hitting 3 outers on me, you know the drill)... no big deal though.

Anyway, In my attempt to increase my ptbb/100 from about 2ish to about 6 (where some of the biggest winning players are at my stakes), I talked to mpethybridge on 2p2 today. I told him that I wanted to be a much bigger winner and I want to find my leaks and plug them. The results were quite astounding... I sent him my all my PT stats as well as screen shots of graphs on my PT stats such as this one (I'm only posting this one to brag).



As you can see, I'm doing pretty well at my stakes, but I can't seem to crush the stakes as many 2p2ers ive seen posting their graphs/stats... I was quite confused and I was hoping mpethybridge could point me in the right direction to becoming an even bigger winner. Anyway, after analyzing my game and he found some very very minor issues such as my pfr in LP was lower then what it could be. utg, utg+1 i should be playing small pp's differently... nothing major just minor tweaks to my game. So we continued searching for the leaks with my game and then BAM we saw it. He looked at my 'luck-graph' which is essentially this:




basically what the luck graph is, is it graphs what i 'should have' won in situations such as all-in's, versus what I actually won. When mpethybridge asked what my equity adjusted on this graph was, i told him it was 4.2bb/100 and he just starts laughing at me.. Since i'm so slow, I was like 'am i running really hot or something?' and his reply is 'your biggest leak is the fishes are luckier then you' hahaha....
He then complimented me on my playing and basically said that I just needed to be more luckier, and if I had a more average luck then i would be around 4-5BB/100 and if I just did the minor tweaks that we discussed I should easily be around 5.5 to 6ish, I just need to be a little luckier lol.
That gave me such a HUGE confidence boost. I am so confident about my play now, and hopefully as I log more hours my luck will turn around and I can see a much higher profits then what I already have.
