Bad weekend gone good!

Welll this weekend started off pretty bad, i was working all week on my cs 349 assignment and basically never played all week except once (i really need to get time to play, but i was so into my cs assignment that i didnt really feel like it lol)...

anyway after my assignment was done on Sat, i wanted to play, but i was really really rusty again and i was making really bad reads/calls and making really bad plays in general. It seemed like NOTHING worked for me on saturday, i played like 3 18 person sngs where i usually always place top 3, and i busted out early in ALL of them. And they were pretty bad beats too like KK losing to 74 to this big newb. AA losing to A7... etc.... i was pretty grumpy that Saturday because nothing was working for me and on top of that i was playing really bad. I ran one HUGE bluff against a TA guy with JJ when I knew he had KK or AA, and on the river he was soooo close to folding but finally called when I played it like i had a huge flush. oh wells. I ended up losing over 100 bucks throughout the day and I was pretty angry about it. However after taking a break for the evening and watching the flames game I decided to play again on Sunday and I must say once i got my 'groove' back, the Sunday went very very well.
There was two hands that was quite amusing so i thought i'd post about it.
First hand I picked up 88, and i think i limped utg with it tryin to set mine becuz the table was playin super loose and callin all raises, so i didnt want to play OOP. 3 callsers behind me including a guy we'll say his name is Neo (its somethin like that). flop is QJ2dd. checked all around. turn is a non diamond low card. I decide to fire out. everyone mucks except Neo who just calls. river is a blank non diamond. I check to him giving him a chance to bluff at the pot. he insta pot's it and i was like in my head what an idiot. I call and his obvious busted draws no good. So now i know this guys a big newb and will try to bluff on the river with nothing. However just like daniel negraneau said, a bluff isnt some bet you throw out there you gotta 'sell' the idea that you have a hand and he played it so obvious that he had a draw then fired a big bullet on the river??? wtf makes no sense!

Anyway, then hand #2 comes up like 20 minutes later, I get AQo in the bb. 4 limpers (including Neo) sb completes and i decide to check. Flop is KTJdd givin me the stone cold nuts!! I check with so many people to act behind me i was thinkin someones gonna fire. Nope i was wrong. everyone including Neo checks. turn is a low non diamond. I pot it there because well, i dont want to give no free cards no more. Everyone folds except Neo. river is a non diamond. LOL i knew he would bluff the river if i checked to him, so i checked to him and he insta potted again LOL, i instacalled it cuz i wanted to see his cards and he had 72dd.... gg idiot i got you again! Anyways after my cash game sessions, I ended up making back the money I lost Saturday (and honestly i shouldnt of lost that money in the first place, sigh) plus a little gravy. So all in all the weekend was an interesting one. I really need to get more playing time because i do really well when i'm on top of my game and my radar is workin well but stupid school keeps blocking up all my time!

In other news amys macbook broke lol, she needs a new harddrive which really sucks and now shes using my desktop so I had to multi table on my small laptop screen (and my eyes are quite sore haha), oh wells it should be fixed soon i hope... it was funny because jo was like 'i cant believe my crappy toshiba outlasted your mac ' lol =P lets jsut hope its a manufacturers defect with their Harddrives.
