Bad plays getting paid off

Hmm... so today was a pretty interesting day... i played very poorly but i still managed to make some good $$ in cash games. I am super duperly dissapointed with the way I played the following 2 hands:

Im in sb with AQ, a fish limps (45% v$ip), and a everyone folds. bb is a super duper tight and straightforward player, so i obviously come in for a raise b/c i can outplay them despite being oop. I pump it to a lil over 3x-4x and they both call.
Flop: AQKr
I bet 2/3 pot
super tight guy raises me 3x..
I decide to call and see what happens on turn, b/c he could easily be raisin A-rag all the way up to AK.
fish folds.
Turn 4
I check
he fires 3/2 pot again... okay, here I should either
1. fold
2. call and check/fold river if he fires again
because clearly he is not betting A-rag anymore, so it was either JT, AK AQ MAYBE AJ (probably not)...... but for some reason i did not feel like laying shit down, and instead of doing anything somewhat reasonable... i decided i felt like pushing LOL...yes i know how horrible is that, at any rate i pushed, he called and and had AK
river Q!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY FIRST SUCKOUT EVER, i felt really bad for him, but thats poker and a lesson well learned by me! I think i pushed there mostly becuz this weekend i played and went very deep in a 90 persn SNG and i was still kinda in tournament mode where you just shove over a lot of bets, anyway lesson learned, we'll call that a +50$ lesson lol.

Bad hand #2:

I get AA in mid, guy to my right raises 4x, i decide to try to trap him and just cold call (mistake #1). BB calls.
Flop QQ9
bb checks
raiser fires lil more then 2/3 pot, i decide to raise and force out bb because i feel like i have the best hand. i make it 4x more. bb folds
raiser re-raises me 3x more...... I have no PT Stats on this guy, so now its straight up reading the situation. I think for a while, and I'm kind of stumped if he has a Q, because I didnt expect him to 3-bet me with an actual Q, i was expecting a call. So i decide to call putting him on KK. turn is a blank and he fires weak, 1/2 pot, so I just call (This is where I should have folded the hand......sigh), river blank, he fires SUPER small, so i call because of pot odds and he has QT lol.....
we'll call that a 30$ mistake

however, despite lotsa bad plays i ended the day up a nice sum, maybe 50ish.

After playing bad i felt very obligated to play good, so after my nightclass i took a quick stab at cash games +sngs agian..... the following hand was the highlight of my night.

I get AK UTG, i raise 3x. biigg juicy fish calls with v$ip of like 60%. everyone else folds. Flop AT3, 3 diamonds.
I fire out 2/3 the pot, he thinks for a sec and calls. Ok so he is most likely drawing, or he could have the flush.
Turn 5c
I fire 3/2 pot again, expecting a raise from sum1 with the flush and a call from someone drawing.

river 8s
i check to him knowing hes gonna fire the river with his busted draw b/c hes a newb
he pots it
i insta-call
i win a big pot

Anyways im back in lame school, reading week is officially over and it sucks ... the last few days were really fun cuz Amy stayed over for the weekend and we played lotsa rockband and random stuff with my family which was really fun. It sucks cuz our band now has to play 'hard' in order to get more fans, and we arent good enough to play hard lol. We had a pretty good band too my sister played drums (shes really good consideirng drums is really hard), andrew played guitar and i played bass and amy sung (shes really good at singing too, lots of 100%'s). I cant wait till next term when we get rockband in waterloo cause i know lotsa ppl that would definatly want to play!

oh ya andrew wont a 90 person sng yesturday for his FIRST EVER 1st place finish in a big tourney.
